This pin, released in shopDisney.com, was designed by “Her Universe.” Her Universe is a “fan girl fashion company and lifestyle brand” created by Ashley Eckstien. Ashley is best known as the voice of Ahsoka Tano, a character who has become a fan favorite in the Star Wars Universe.

Ahsoka Tano is a Togrutu female who was first introduced to Star Wars fans as the protagonist Jedi Padawan of Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. She is identifiable by her orange skin and white Lekku and Montreal’s with blue stripes. Since she was introduced as a younger character, her story arch spans a variety of Star Wars tales and often leaves the fans with more questions then answers about the character. Since this is the case, “Ahsoka Lives” has become a sort of rallying cry Ashley Eckstien and her followers.

This pin celebrates that proclamation of “Ahsoka Lives,” with these words written in a bold font reminiscent of that used for the iconic Star Wars logo. The pin is die cut around the words. The base metal that is used as a thick boarder around the saying is a black-toned metal. “Ahsoka Lives” is written out in an orange enamel that resembles Ahsoka’s skin-tone. The “o” in “Ahsoka” is stylized to look like her face using a mix of orange positive and black base metal negative space.
