Zippitydooshaw Pin Traders

Back in January 2020 we had travelled to Walt Disney World (WDW) for a holiday (not knowing it would be our last trip for a while! 😬). On our very first day walking around the Magic Kingdom we happened to spy some pin traders outside Frontier Trading Post. We started chatting to some folk and eventually got chatting to Joey who then introduced us to Alex, her husband. This was our first interaction with Zippitydooshaw as they’re known on Instagram.

We chatted to them for what seemed like a moment but was actually about 30-60 minutes. We told them all about the website and they told us all about how they spend their time pin trading and organising pin trading around WDW. We told us about how they organise a monthly pin event in Tortuga Tavern. These unfortunately have been put on pause for now but we’re hoping by the time we get back to Walt Disney World we’ll be able to make it to one of their pin trading events.

We ended up bumping into Joey and Alex a few more times in WDW and they showed us the most amazing (and large!) Marie pin we’d ever seen. We had organised to meet back up on our next holiday to WDW in May 2020 but unfortunately due to Covid-19 we had to cancel the trip so didn’t get to meet back up with them again. 
 
So we’ve been keeping in touch via Instagram. Joey and Alex seem to get the most amazing pins. Looking at their Instagram almost every single day we’re seeing rarer pins which we’ve never seen before. They post boards of pins most days of what they have for sale which can range from rack pins from Parks around the world to limited edition, hard to get pins. 

We have purchased pins from Zippitydooshaw several times. From those who don’t know we’re based in the UK and they’re based in the US. If we’re on the lookout for pins generally we just drop them a message asking if they have any, say, Haunted Mansion pins and inevitably they will get back with a large selection of pins to choose from! Sometimes when we’re purchasing pins from a US seller the price of postage can be pretty off-putting, this is NOT the case with Zippitydooshaw. Their postage is always very reasonable.
 
Recently they contacted us letting us know they had a gorgeous Marie Acme pin (they know we’re huge Marie fans!) and offered us the pin for a really reasonable price. We picked up another pin for a friend and a Nightmare Before Christmas pin for us (aren’t your main collections cute kittens and spooky stuff?!). All pins were well packaged in protective foam and bubblewrap and in a padded envelope.

We’d really recommend purchasing pins (and Park trading!) from Zippitydooshaw, they are a truly lovely couple and have some absolutely fantastic pins.
