Why Start Pin Collecting or Pin Trading?
Pin collecting and trading is so fun. I, personally, have never traded a pin in a Disney park or elsewhere, but from what I have heard, it’s so enjoyable and adds some extra Disney magic to your Disney vacation or day. It is so interesting discovering pins that you may not have seen before and really want to have in your collection. It is also a really good talking point as many people will be interested in what you collect and could have the same interests as you?!
Disney pins are a relatively accessible and affordable souvenir from a Disney Park or Disney Vacation. Pins are sold in most stores and will offer a chance to keep a memory of your favourite ride, character meet, hotel etc.
This may not be a reason for all, but for people who like decorating apparel or cork boards, this is for you. You can turn a plain denim jacket into an explosion of colour and excitement by decorations it with pins of your favourite movie or character! This can show your uniqueness and quirk that only YOU have.
With pins being made of nearly every Disney movie that has been made, everyone will be able to get pins that they like. It is also very satisfying to finish a set that you were after, or complete your ISO List. ShopDisney and the Disney parks regularly come out with limited edition (LE), limited releases (LR), Disneyland Paris exclusive pins and many other exciting and hard to find pins.
And there we go! You’ve reached the end. I hope you found this article useful and helped you find out if Disney pins are for you?! Thanks :)

I started after becoming a Disney Store Cast Member and earning some rewards and recognition Cast Member Exclusive Pins. I loved how they looked and began to research them to know what I had. From there I found others I liked and many now all have a special place in my heart with the stories they carry with them.
I think reason number 2 was my first reason for collecting pins. It's a nice way to remember specific trips or parts of trips 😊
