DisneyWrapping fantasy pin interview
Recently we were fortunate enough to get speaking to Emma from DisneyWrapping about all things Fantasy Pin related.
Hopefully you enjoy, and make sure to follow Emma on instagram.
Nice easy one to start can you give us a little background on who you are
I’m Emma. From Leeds in Yorkshire, I’m 20 years old and work in childcare.
Nice to meet you Emma! How did you get into fantasy pin making?
I've been making pins since around May 2018. I just had so many ideas and thought why not and saw the fantasy pin market was making good money.
Where do you get your ideas from?
Most of my ideas are my own and someone else creates the artwork for me. I normally do a few sketches and scribbles and others do the detail for me.
I only know about your Instagram account, where is the best place to see your pins for sale?
All my pins for sale are on my Etsy Page.
What is the favourite pin you’ve made?
My favourite so far has to be the Lilo and Stitch Ohana quote pin.
Lilo and Stitch Pin
Such a lovely pin! And what is the next pin you're excited for?
This beautiful Timon and Pumbaa pin!
Timon and Pumbaa pin in the works
Lovely! What do you love most about the pin community?
I love the fact we can trade and support each other with our pre-sales
As awesome as the community is, what would make the pin community even better?
Maybe not accusing people of stealing things and not being original
Finally, do you have any advice for folk who are thinking about making fantasy pins?
Always be true to yourself and try to be different to everyone else. Use your own ideas
